River Watchers and Bailiff – Warrant Renewals
Roe Angling Ltd is pleased to confirm that the Club’s River Watchers and full-time Bailiff had their warrant cards formally renewed at Coleraine District Court last week.
These appointments are made under the provisions of the Foyle Fisheries Act 1952, and our warranted officers play an important role in protecting the fishery, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the sustainable management of the River Roe.
Members are reminded that authorised River Watchers and the Bailiff have legal powers, including the ability to request sight of rod licences and club permits while on the fishery.
We would ask all members and visiting anglers to cooperate fully with our officers in the exercise of their duties and to treat them with the utmost courtesy and respect at all times.
Their work is undertaken for the benefit of the fishery and the wider membership, and your support is greatly appreciated.
