AGM-Notice of Motions
With the A.G.M approaching and the possibility of rules being changed I will be putting in the newsletter following the A.G.M any changes made to any rules or fees so everyone is kept up to date. If anyone didn’t receive their A.G.M letter let me know and I will email you one.
Volunteers Required
We are planning to do some tree planting next spring in the lower stretches of the river, this is to slow up the bank side erosion so if anyone is willing to help out please leave your contact details in one of the fishing shops or email me directly.
Riverfly Partnership
The club could be joining the Riverfly Project and are looking for members that can do a 10 minute check of fly life in the feeder streams once a month, this will help monitor water quality. Full training is to be provided funded and provided by the N.I.E.A.
Gravid Salmon
I received information from the Loughs Agency regarding October caught salmon
Many anglers will be catching Gravid (Coloured) Fish, please return these fish carefully back to the water.
